APPOINTMENTS
When we schedule an appointment with you, our dental team and treatment room are reserved especially for you. Missing an appointment means that this time remains unused for the full duration that was planned. In line with the guidelines of our professional associations, we may charge a fee for missed appointments. The same applies if you cancel too late—that is, less than 24 hours in advance. Mondzorg Breestraat reserves the right to charge for such cases. Repeated failure to attend appointments may result in the termination of the treatment agreement with the patient.
We expect you to inform our practitioners of any important matters related to your treatment and overall health, both prior to examinations and during the course of treatment. The better informed we are about your personal health circumstances, the better we can tailor our care to your needs. We also kindly ask that you notify us promptly of any changes to your address or insurance. Please communicate these changes as soon as possible by email or in writing.
We kindly ask our patients to switch off their mobile phones during treatments. It can be disruptive for both you and the practitioner if the phone rings.
Babies and young children are welcome to accompany you to check-up appointments, as these are typically brief. However, for treatment appointments longer than 15 minutes, this is unfortunately not possible. During such treatments, it is not feasible to provide the attention your young children need and deserve.
Please ensure that not only yourself but also your children brush their teeth thoroughly before visiting our practice.
Before, during, and after treatments, it is almost always necessary to consult with you. Patients who do not have sufficient command of the Dutch or English language are kindly requested to bring someone with them who can translate and assist with communication.
